Tracie-  Basalt Wellness was grown from a dream.....

Long ago, when I was new to massage, I took my son on a trip to the UP to wonder at the natural beauty of the Basalt rocks that line the shores of Lake Superior. This area is one of only a handful on the planet where lava has been worn by the weather and the waves to form the smooth Basalt stones that are used in Hot Stone Massage.

This experience gave me an appreciation for the time and unique factors that created each stone.
